The proxy offline browser archives visited web pages with your browser to be used on- and offline. Offline each page is available with its original URL. There is no difference between surfing in the internet or archive. You can even use your bookmarks offline. This proxy offline browser is an ideal addition to every browser!

Browser Proxy Configuration

 

Switch on the proxy of your browser and enter the protocol types HTTP and FTP the IP address 127.0.0.1 and port 8080.

Settings for the browser

Netscape / Mozilla

Menu bar

  • (1) Select Edit
  • (2) Select Preferences..


Note for user of Mac OS X:

  • (2) Preferences.. are in menu Mozilla
Mozilla / Netscape: Edit / Preferences..

Dialog Preferences

  • (3) Select the Category Advanced / Proxies.


Category Configure Proxies to Access the Internet

  • (4) Select Manual proxy configuration
  • (5) For the protocols HTTP and FTP enter the IP address 127.0.0.1 and port 8080.
    Note:
    If entries are already available here then you transfer these in the MM3-WebAssistantWebAssistant from Surf Sets/(HTTP-Protocol, FTP-Protocol).


Mozilla / Netscape: Advanced / Proxies

Dialog Preferences

  • (6) Select the category Advanced / HTTP Networking


In the category Proxy Connection Options:

  • (7) Select Use HTTP 1.1
  • (8) Enable Enable Keep-Alive


  • (9) Exit dialog Preferences with OK.
Mozilla / Netscape: Advanced / HTTP Networking
