Mean Deal

The object of the game is to get the cards in four piles of the same suit. These are the foundation piles.

A card can be moved from one of the lower twelve working piles to one of the four foundation piles at the top of the screen if the card is of matching suit and one greater in value than the card it is being placed on.

A card can be moved one of the lower twelve working piles to another working pile providing it is of matching suit and one lower in value than the card it is being placed on.

Providing at least one card has been moved, the twelve working piles can be re-dealt (by clicking on the deck base symbol). This re-dealing keeps the cards in the same order, but restacks them so that there are four cards in each working pile again (except the last pile). This can be useful in bringing cards that were previously covered to the top of a working pile.

Once the cards have been re-dealt, they cannot be re-dealt again until another card has been moved (either from one working pile to another, or to a foundation pile).

If you cannot move any cards since the last re-deal, then you have lost the game and need to play again.
