This is a really bad part of the game. The good thing is that the
air essence is the only essence with which it happens. The bad thing is
that the air essence is the only essence with which it happens. You just
have to be very careful, and never use air in the game where another
essence will work. When you're in the jail cell, for instance. Yes, you
can use flare to get the jailer's attention, but you really need to use
tremor so that you won't run out of air. As I said in a previous post,
one of this game's biggest problems is its linearity. As you said, you
can't know any of this until you get through the game once. I don't see
how it is possible to finish this game at all without playing it at least
twice. The same goes for Suspect (try as I might, I simply have >never<
been able to get all the clues honestly one time through--trying to meet
Alicia at the door never works with everything else).
