I and a few friends are in the process of building an LP MUD based
on the Zork games, with an emphasis on problem/puzzle solving, rather
than the typical hack-n-slash muds that exist.

Mail me (tim@handel.princeton.edu or Beek@TMI-2 (tmi.ccs.neu.edu 5555))

ZORKMUD LOOKING FOR CODERS

Ever played Zork or any of the other original infocom games?
ZorkMud is a LP mud based on the original Zork games. Mudlib writing has
progressed to the point where we are ready to employ coders to expand
the Great Underground Empire.

All of the rooms from Zork I, II, and II already exist on ZorkMUD, and
form the backbone of the mud.

Currently we don't have the staff to teach people how to code for us,
so we need either:
a) people who KNOW lpc, and not just how to code areas for mud X or mud Y.
Our lib is probably different enough from most other muds.
b) people who are willing to write some puzzles set in the great underground
empire, who wouldn't mind if they don't do the actual coding themselves.
Such people would get to approve areas proposed by them before opening.

Anyone who wants to help out with Zork Mud MUST be familiar with
the original Infocom Zork adventures. Beyond that, if you're willing to
work within our limits, we shouldn't have a problem putting you to work.
