Yeah. The spec is our spec, not *the* Z-machine in any sense.  (Your
investigation into how Infocom's interpreters work *is*, in quite an
important sense.)

My original contention (boiled down through the whole discussion last
time) was that it is not against the spirit of @restore_undo for
@restore_undo to revert the cache one stage.
