BEARALERT	1993 December 24	20:30 UT

The recent emergence of positive polarity flux closely
adjacent (south & west) of the negative leading polarity
flux in region NOAA #7640, N08E19 on Dec. 24 at 20:10 UT,
has increased the potential for additional C-class and
even M-class activity for the next few days.
